St Michael’s College, Enniskillen is a catholic boys’ school based in the County Fermanagh town of Enniskillen adjacent to Lough Erne. It opened in 1903 and from then until today the college has constantly grown in size. Starting from a small school it now caters for over 700 boys with a teaching staff of 50 and over 30 support staff.
The school has a long sporting tradition and has won the MacRory Cup for Gaelic football 7 times. It is also well respected for its academic success. The school has just over 100 places in year 8 and pupils are admitted in the grade order obtained in the Post Primary Transfer Consortium Entrance Assessment Test.
St Michael’s College uses results in the PPTC (GL Assessment) Transfer Test during its year 8 selection process.
