Lumen Christi College - a brief overview.

Lumen Christi College is in Bishop Street, Derry and was founded in 1997 and has almost 900 pupils – accepting both boys and girls. While the college is a Catholic Grammar school it accepts pupils of all faiths. The school has a reputation for attracting pupils who obtain excellent academic results. In 2017 it was ranked 22nd in the United Kingdom by a survey undertaken by the Sunday Times. As well as teaching a wide range of subjects the College also has an extensive range of extra-curricular activities. Due to its good reputation the school is often over-subscribed for entry into year 8.

Lumen Christi College uses the new SEAG Single Entrance Transfer Test results as part of its intake criteria into year 8.
