Wellington College Belfast
Wellington College came into being inn 1989 when Annadale Grammar School (boys) and Carolan Grammar School (girls) merged to become a single co-educational school. The school covers a large site at Carolan Road in south Belfast and the school moved there in 2002.
The school is very popular and always heavily oversubscribed – often with two or more pupils applying for each available place in year 8. The school has grown over recent years and now has almost 800 pupils from year 8 to year 14.
Wellington College transfer procedure includes the use of both AQE and/or GL Transfer Test results.
